Throw in an Earth Shock on an opponent's spellcast for good measure. The same applies to a 5-man instance or heck, I'll throw it out there, a raid. If everyone's topped up or near full, it's actually sometimes useful if the Shaman shifts to offense. And she'll even be effective at it. "Vhiari has released some interesting stats about the Arena Tournament realm over on his Blogspot site. What he did is take the top 5000 (due to ""Armory limitations,"" he says) personal ratings in each bracket, and then charted them according to classes. Keep in mind that this is the Arena Tournament realm (the live realm data is also available separately), so this is more an indication of what players are doing so far on the tournament realm rather than class viability in day-to-day situations. But keep in mind also that Blizzard is watching the Tournament realm closely for PvP balance, so what we see here could have some hints into the future of Arena changes. Mages especially don't make out too well on the 5v5 chart, and Hunters don't appear to fare much better. Warriors, as you might expect, are off the charts, but comparably on 5v5, Druids aren't at that level. Rogue placement is a surprise, too, but Vhiari just says in the comments that that's more an indication of how many people rolled rogues on the TR rather than a signal that Rogues are rocking 5v5. Interesting stuff. Unfortunately, the data is a little too fuzzy to pull off any serious conclusions (even if Mages aren't getting high ratings, this chart does nearly nothing at all to help us figure out why that might be), but it's an interesting look at what's happening on the TR so far. But there's also another resource that should come in handy: The official ladder listings right on the official Armory. By choosing the Coliseum 1 battlegroup, you can see the rankings for the Tournament Realms. The current top 3v3 team, Outrageously Better Pros, Is a Priest/Rogue/Druid team, although the Druid has no games played. Maybe they used to be Priest Mage Rogue, which is a pretty strong combo these days. It should be fun to watch these rankings as the tournament progresses, both to see what class and spec makeups stay near the top, and to see what outrageous and silly names people can come up with for their teams -- without breaking the naming policy, that is. What's interesting to me is that despite the fact that the Tournament itself is 3v3 only, the 2v2 and 5v5 brackets are still in full swing, with quite a few teams. I suppose this is a sign that people really do like the idea of a good solid PvP only realm to duke it out with high powered characters to prove their worth. I have to wonder if Blizzard is watching those brackets as closely as they're watching the 3v3 bracket, or if this is a sign that they may make these arena practice realms more permanent in the future. Every 45 seconds or so 2 trolls will spawn, each will head to a platform and begin popping eggs. When the eggs pop dragonhawks will spawn. Every time the trolls spawn you want to allow a certain amount of eggs to pop because when Jan'alai reaches 35%, ALL of the eggs will pop at once. We kind of brute forced it: When he was at around 55%, we accidentally let ALL of the remaining eggs pop, so about 20 or so dragonhawks were free. wow leveln Nuked them down and nuked the boss. If all of the eggs are popped, Jan'alai enrages. Compared to the damage output of say, Halazzi, it's pretty weak. Pew pew. After speaking with Lanthan, head back to Arcanist Helion near the Sunspire and turn in the tainted sliver quest.

You are now finished with the quests on Sunstrider Isle and should head towards the ruins of Silvermoon and Eversong Woods to the south.

Before any battle it is always a good idea to make sure these skills are active.


After you have killed the required 8 mana wyrms, head back to Magistrix Erona and turn in the quest.
Notice that she now has a yellow .
above her head.
This means that you have fulfilled the requirements for a quest that you can turn in to her.
If you have problems finding her, look on your mini map.

She will be represented by a small yellow dot on the minimap.

By now you should be level 2, congratulations! You are eligible for more quests now.
Take the next two quests from Magistrix Erona (Unfortunate Measures and a class-specific quest).
Head inside the Sunspire to turn in your class-specific quest at the trainer.
You can also see what skills are available.
You gain money by selling the loot that drops from the creatures you kill.
There is a vendor inside the Sunspire as well.
You can pick up the quest Well Watcher Solanian from your class trainer.

A short distance from the trainers inside the Sunspire is a ramp that leads upstairs.
You will find Well Watcher Solanian at the top of the ramp.
Turn in the quest Well Watcher Solanian (you will be rewarded for speaking with him with a new 4 slot bag) and pick up the two quests Solanian's Belongings and The Shrine of Dath'Remar.
Afterwards, head back down the ramp and out of the Sunspire.
To your right is a small building.
You can pick up a few more quests there.

Introduction
The beautiful Eversong Woods is the ancient home of the blood elves.
The destruction of the Sunwell, nearly decimated the blood elf population.wow lvl service.
A dark scar littered with the remnants of that undead invasion still mars the peaceful landscape of the woods, as well as splits the blood elves capital city of Silvermoon into the thriving side and the ruined side.
Lynxes and the dragonhawks share the forest.
Evidence of the blood elves' tie to all things magical is evident around every turn.


Silvermoon City is the blood elves' capital city and lies within the confines of Eversong Woods.
One portion of it is ruined, and holds only minimal amenities.
The other side is a thriving city and center of trade for the beleagured blood elf race.

The least you need to know
World of Warcraft is a game designed to give you plenty of freedom in how you choose to progress your character.
That doesn’t necessarily mean that all options are viable and speedy.
The quickest way to get through Eversong Woods is to complete all of the available quests within the zone.
This takes about five-seven hours and lands you to at least level ten, ready to head to the neighbouring zone of the Ghostlands.

Grinding away enemies (basically slaying the same group of enemies over and over) is always an option, but with the lack of skills and decent gear it just will be much slower then doing quests.

If you plan on crafting then it’s best to pick up a gathering trade as fast as possible.
If you plan to do Alchemy, then pick up Herbalism.
If you want to take up Blacksmithing, Jewelcrafting or Engineering then you’ll want to take up mining.
If you plan on working the Leatherworking trade then pick up skinning.
If you don’t really want to craft then pick up two gathering trades! Extra income is always welcome while you progress through the world.
